Routine Cleaning — “Maintain It”
Throughout the home
Maintenance cleaning for a home already at a reasonably maintainable baseline.

Transition cleaning is its own service—not simply a Deep Clean with another name.

- Movers, painters, installers and contractors should preferably finish first
- Required utilities must be available
- Landlord/property-manager checklists should be supplied before the quote
- No guarantee of security-deposit return, landlord approval or inspection passage
Small-Office Cleaning — “Maintain the Workplace”

Recurring or one-time service for appropriately sized offices, including business-hours, after-hours, evening or late-night work where appropriate.

Safety & Service Boundaries
Cleaning ≠ repair or restoration
Songbird cleans. It does not quietly become a plumber, electrician, appliance technician, contractor, restoration company or pest-control service.
Safe access only
No heavy furniture/appliance moving or ladder-dependent service at launch. Normal work is from the ground with appropriate extension tools; a small stable step stool may be used selectively when judged safe.
Specialized hazards
Songbird does not provide sharps/needle handling, specialized biohazard remediation, significant blood/body-fluid or sewage cleanup, hazardous biological hoarding cleanup, extensive mold remediation, pest extermination, chimney/flue/creosote cleaning or hazardous-material remediation.
Safety Stop Rule
Meaningful health/safety risks, materially undisclosed conditions, or circumstances outside the agreed safe scope may require the affected task to be declined, stopped, re-scoped, rescheduled or left.
A few Songbird rules worth remembering: Access does not equal permission. Deep does not equal unlimited. New mess created after an area is completed is not a Songbird miss. If Songbird genuinely misses an included booked item, Songbird makes the actual missed work right.
Products & Cleaning Chemistry
Professional products.
Chosen for a reason.
A sparkling clean is not about reaching for the harshest chemical available. It is about matching the product, dilution, method, and surface to the job. Songbird's core system uses professional Spartan products with different jobs rather than treating every surface with the same bottle.
Products are used according to manufacturer label directions. Disinfection is performed only where appropriate, with the required dilution, pre-cleaning, wet contact time, and surface compatibility.
Bathroom cleaner + disinfectant
NABC
Where I use it: hard, nonporous bathroom surfaces such as toilets, urinals, ceramic tile, porcelain, shower walls, and appropriate floors.
Why it earns a place in the kit: it is a ready-to-use, non-acid formula that cleans, deodorizes, and can disinfect bathroom surfaces when used according to its EPA label.

Hospital disinfectant cleaner
Profect Neutral 64
Where I use it: appropriate hard, nonporous high-touch and environmental surfaces when cleaning and disinfection are called for.
Why it earns a place in the kit: Spartan describes Profect Neutral 64 as a one-step hospital disinfectant cleaner for hard, nonporous environmental surfaces. It is neutral-pH, fragrance-free, and dye-free, and is formulated to disinfect without damaging or dulling floor finish when used as directed.

Hydrogen-peroxide all-purpose cleaner
Clean by Peroxy
Where I use it: compatible windows, mirrors, floors, walls, restrooms, kitchens, tile, and grout, with the dilution adjusted to the cleaning task.
Why it earns a place in the kit: hydrogen-peroxide-powered chemistry gives me one versatile cleaner for light through heavy-duty cleaning while helping reduce the number of separate products I need to bring into a home.

Not used on marble or other acid-sensitive surfaces. This is a cleaner—not presented here as a disinfectant.
Daily hard-floor cleaner
Damp Mop
Where I use it: compatible resilient and water-safe hard flooring for routine floor maintenance.
Why it earns a place in the kit: its no-rinse formula is designed to dry quickly without leaving residue or haze that can dull floor gloss. It is suitable for flooring such as vinyl, terrazzo, ceramic, quarry tile, and other water-safe resilient surfaces.

Questions before
the first flutter?
Do I have to start with a Deep Cleaning?
No. First-time recurring customers do not automatically need a Deep Cleaning. The right starting service depends on the home’s condition and requested scope.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. You receive an agreed flat-rate estimate. Working efficiently does not reduce the agreed price, and normal estimating variation does not increase it.
Can I be home? What about pets?
Yes. Customers may be home. Friendly pets are welcome; animals that are unsafe, interfere with cleaning, or present an escape risk need to be secured.
What happens if the scope changes?
No surprise extra work is added to your bill without discussing it first. If the requested scope or property condition is materially different, any change is discussed before additional work.
What kinds of work are outside Songbird’s scope?
Songbird does not provide specialized biohazard or mold remediation, pest control, construction cleanup, junk hauling, substantial decluttering, heavy furniture/appliance moving, ladder work, repairs, restoration, or unsafe lifting.
